Just another weekend....

Nothing too exciting here this weekend....
Friday night I begged (literally) Jesse to take me fishing. It was a Beautiful evening and all I wanted was to be on the boat! For the first time in his life he said "I don't wanna go fishin'!" I immediately checked his forehead. He has got to be sick! My Jesse.... Doesn't want to go fishing?! Whew! I can't believe that all came out in one sentence!
But I got my way. ;o)

He wasn't thrilled that I got my way...

We had a ton of fun! It was so nice to go out and just relax... swim... and snap a few in-action photos...

The water was 80*! That's basically bath water! It was SO nice!!! My hips are bruised from climbing in and out of the boat so many times!!! Just a great reminder of how much fun we had on Friday!

The rest of the weekend was spent doing house/yard stuff. Go figure.
Jesse's parents took the boat and truck up to Dent to go camping so we were kind of left with no option but to do house/yard stuff... but that's okay because they left us Ace and Jasper. Ace is doing amazing. He even chased a chicken out of my yard! Frickin' hilarious!!! Remember on Chicken Little when the little chicken runs as fast as he possibly can with his wings spread out??? Yup, that was what my neighbors chicken looked like while Ace ran one thousand miles an hour after him! I thought I was going to die I was laughing so hard! But then, Ace got into trouble for running. Oops! =/

Saturday, Jesse got called into work. BOO! Not like I didn't get enough time to myself when Jesse was gone in Alaska.... I got a lot done in those 8 hours that he was gone!!!
I...
-cleaned the chicken coop
-sewed a curtain for my sister
-repaired 3 pair of jeans and 2 pair of shorts for Jesse (he has a tenancy to rip the a** out of everything he wears because he refuses to wear a belt!)
-mowed our lawn
-mowed the neighbors lawn (he is a pilot and is gone all the time! I swear, his grass was up to my chin (not really) so I thought I would be a good neighbor and mow it for him. I hope he doesn't mind my crooked lines!!!)
-laid in the sun and read a book
-cleaned out our "office" so we could paint it
WHEW!

Sunday morning I made the chickens breakfast....

I figured if I give them royal treatment, they will lay their first egg....
Negative...

 At least my garden loves me! It's growing like crazy and feeding my hungry belly! (Unlike my chickens!)
