Jesse and I have taken a brave little step down a brand new path. A path that we were, at first, unsure of. A path that would change our lives. A path that would give us more energy. A path that would allow us to sleep soundly at night. A path that would allow us to love our own bodies and be happy with ourselves.
I first heard about AdvoCare about four months ago when I saw a couple of my friends posting pictures on Facebook of "before and after" pictures. I was in awe! How did you do it?! Did you have to starve yourself?! You look amazing! I wanted it. Done. Sold. Give it to me!
I did a TON of research on this stuff. It is all natural which means no chemicals in the product. That was enough to sell me. I've never been big on diets. Nutrisystem - very strict, lots of chemicals. HCG - I don't even need to explain that one. Hydroxycut - put me in the hospital when I was 16. Nuff said.
Jesse and I want to be healthy from the inside out. Duh, we both want to look great for summer (and for each other! Hehe!!), but most importantly we want to be healthy.
We are currently doing the 24 Day Challenge. It involves a 10 day cleanse which cleans out all of the bad toxins in your body. All the yucky stuff. And to answer the question I had for my friends above... No, you don't starve yourself. It's not a starvation plan by any means.
The last 14 days is replacing all the bad stuff with good stuff. Proper vitamins and nutrition.
We are currently on day three of the challenge and my jeans are already fitting better! I feel amazing! I've been sleeping great! I don't feel starving by 9am. I'm not yawning by 3pm. And I have the energy to run a marathon! It's amazing what being healthy can do! Simply, amazing!
If you haven't heard of AdvoCare, I suggest you do some research. Or come talk to me. It is a life change that you will never regret. You can bad mouth "diets" all day long but until you try this.... you have no idea what it means to be healthy. To feel amazing.
Update:
Jesse went from 216 to 209 in three days!
I have lost 3 pounds in three days!
