3 years ago today, I met a man that I will one day, call my Husband. It's hard to believe that 3 years ago, I ran home from the bar to tell my dad "He's Perfect! He's the one!". Yes, I said the BAR. Never would have guessed I would meet the man of my dreams in a BAR! Just proves how much I really Hated this day. I went to drink it away!
Anyway! It IS Valentine's Day... now I call it one of my favorite holidays and boy do I have fun with it! I started early this week making some treats for a "Food Day" at work today...
I made chocolate covered pretzels...
...and I made cupcakes... (I am a dummy and typed 2011. Those were in fact made in 2012.)
Jesse brought me roses, chocolate and a card. The roses are for me to plant which I LOVE!!! Don't get me wrong, I love long stem roses, but they die, and are a waste of money. I love the thought of planting my Valentine's flowers and being able to look at them everyday for years to come! Brownie points for him!
Jesse took me to Red Lobster for dinner tonight. We have both been craving it and it was SO YUM!!!
I had Rock Island stuffed Tilapia. It was stuffed with Lobster and Crab, with a side of broccoli and a baked potato, and a Malibu Hurricane to drink.
Jesse had Wood-Grilled Sirloin Surf & Turf with a side of prawns, lobster tail, and mashed taters. His Sirloin was cooked perfectly! To drink, an amber ale. Of course. =o)
We enjoyed another Valentine's Day together... like we always do =)
Here's to another year of Jesse and I! We are truly Blessed!
